ARCH Web
Resources: All ARCH Member Support activities
require a cost effective, reliable,
secure, two-way method of communication and information sharing to
facilitate periodic Member updates, and allow for immediate updates of
important time critical news. The ARCH website is the focal point for
Members to access information and communicate with ARCH Committees and
other Members. Electronic-mail will be used for the majority of our
communications and broadcast of information sharing. The Web
Resources Committee (WRC) shall design, implement and maintain the
ARCH website, RestonARCH.org, to organize and enhance communications
and information sharing, internally within and between the Members, and
where appropriate, externally with the community.
Volunteers are needed to:
- Initially to design and develop the
features and functionality of the initial web deployment, and fully
test and Q.A. the system;
- On an ongoing basis, to
assume webmaster responsibility for the segments of the website,
supporting each of the Operations & Administration Support
Committees. As such, these individuals will become an adjunct member
of the Committee they support;
- To develop features that enhance the visual
and operational appeal of the website (this will require computer
graphic arts expertise) and also to
provide technical support (this will require knowledge of web
techniques and codes) as needed.
