A founding principal of ARCH is: To have a lasting and substantive impact in the community we must enlist and sustain the "grass roots" support and involvement of our Members. As stated, our plan is to address the breadth of interests and needs of our Members by forming Committees, focused on separate tasks, drawing on the diverse and robust experience and interests of our Members. Each Committee will consist of a "Core Group", including a Chair and a Board Member that will coordinate and manage the activities. Each Committee will also endeavor to identify and access members of the community with specialized knowledge and experience, and/or limited availability, on an ad hoc basis to add situation specific knowledge and experience. ARCH’s success will depend exclusively on the volunteer efforts of its Members - the Committees that support the organization and those that deliver benefits to ARCH Members and the community.
